Flight School 101 – Generating Lift…
During Flight Training you learn all about aviation, radios, weather, and physics.
Instructors are always very keen to drill Bernoulli's Principle into students, to help explain how airplanes fly. Most unfortunately, it can be proven - much to the chagrin of millions of Trained, Licensed and Experienced Pilots...
Bernoulli's Principle is quite completely -and technically - incorrect. Based on my extensive experience over the past four years, Bernoulli’s Principle is also practically incorrect.
A diagram will help to illustrate what really makes airplanes fly:..

As the wallet is opened, an incredibly strong sucking force aggressively pulls on the $20 bills.
They go flying over the top of the wing, generating lift. The faster the plane goes, the quicker the wallet empties. The $20 bill on the bottom represents the cost just for being able to look at the plane during daylight.
Don't ask where the money actually goes… It's simply too painful to contemplate.
Time to Solo??
